Autumn is here
“Now Autumn's fire burns slowly along the woods
And day by day the dead leaves fall and melt.”

Control
Last night I went to the cinema to see Control. This film is about the story of Ian Curtis, singer of Joy Division. The film was fantastic, Sam Riley is just amazing, he is the reincarnation of Ian Curtis and for 2 hours I felt I was Ian Curtis.
When the routine bites hard
And ambitions are low
And the resentment rides high
But emotions wont grow
And were changing our ways,
Taking different roads
Then love, love will tear us apart again
Why is the bedroom so cold
Turned away on your side?
Is my timing that flawed,
Our respect run so dry?
Yet theres still this appeal
That weve kept through our lives
Love, love will tear us apart again
Do you cry out in your sleep
All my failings expose?
Get a taste in my mouth
As desperation takes hold
Is it something so good
Just cant function no more?
When love, love will tear us apart again
When the routine bites hard
And ambitions are low
And the resentment rides high
But emotions wont grow
And were changing our ways,
Taking different roads
Then love, love will tear us apart again
Why is the bedroom so cold
Turned away on your side?
Is my timing that flawed,
Our respect run so dry?
Yet theres still this appeal
That weve kept through our lives

Do you cry out in your sleep
All my failings expose?
Get a taste in my mouth
As desperation takes hold
Is it something so good
Just cant function no more?
When love, love will tear us apart again

Ferme du Chambeyron
Finally another post, did miss the time and inspiration lately but will try to post on a daily basis again.

Place Saint Louis
This is a place where I used to live in Metz (Lorraine, France). It's currently being renovated.
When I look at this picture I trully feel this is still middle age.
In the middle age, under the arcades, 60 bankers were installed, the former name of the place "place des Changes" recalls this activity.

Gargoyle
I like this one, very creepy, strange creature ready to jump.
In architecture, gargoyles are the carved terminations to spouts which convey water away from the sides of buildings. The term originates from the French gargouille, originally the throat or gullet.
A local legend that sprang up around the name of St. Romanus ("Romain") (631 – 641 A.D.), the former chancellor of the Merovingian king Clotaire II who was made bishop of Rouen, relates how he delivered the country around Rouen from a monster called Gargouille, having the creature captured by the only volunteer, a condemned man. The gargoyle's grotesque form was said to scare off evil spirits so they were used for protection. In commemoration of St. Romain the Archbishops of Rouen were granted the right to set a prisoner free on the day that the reliquary of the saint was carried in procession.

Audi R8
Yesterday on the way to work I stoppepd at the garage hoping to see this beauty and there it was.
The Audi R8 is a mid-engined sports car released by the German automaker Audi in 2006. Audi announced in 2005 that the name of the successful Audi R8 race car would be used for a new road car in 2007
The Audi R8 is already available with a 4.2 L V8 making 420 hp, as seen in the Audi RS4. Pricing for the 420 bhp model starts from €104,400 or £77,000. The base price in the US is $109,000 for the 6-speed manual. A R-Tronic equipped R8 will price at $118,000. The R8 has a dry weight of 1560 kg (3439 lb). A 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 4.6 seconds is possible with a top speed of 301 km/h (187 mph).
I'm afraid it will never be mine...

Rain - part 4 and final
That concludes my series on rain.
All this pictures were taken just as a heavy rain started, it was very sudden as it went from no rain to heavy shower the second after, then people started to run all over the place. That was great fun to watch and to take pictures of. Thanks everyone for you nice comments.
