It is a statement, in vivid color, of what is to come. Someday. The sun will grow large and engulf earth. There is a process all stars and suns go through until they vanish from the sky.

I like your photograph because it is a reminder that the graveyards are filled with people who will never see this beautiful sunset.

Actually this picture was not a B&W with a red filter applied using a software. This picture was taken using an infrared filter directly attached to the lens.
The white balance was not set correctly, that explains the red tint. I just accentuated the color almost to complete saturation, I love playing using the saturation effect.

This picture was taken in the american cemetary in Luxembourg.
I love being in cemetaries, it makes you feel peaceful and very humble.

I don't have any explanation about why I took this picture using this effect, it is just a feeling of an instant.
